Phillip Island what a race to remember with Lowndesy Smashing his own record in the race. With the Duo Lowndes and Whincup succeeding with brilliant efforts on Sunday the race still hasn’t made the Championship picture clearer for us to see the true winner. With just 20 points separating the duo it is all left up to the Sydney 500 to make the decision of who will win the Championship. Although they started fourth and eighth they had a cracker of a race and even though their was back-to-back safety cares they still couldn’t change the placing of the cars. With Jamie setting a new lap record it was a race that the boys gave their all and succeeded and brought back the amazing drivers that we know.
